About Me:

My work helps clients who feel stuck in patterns that are creating barriers for them through use of Person-Centered and Emotionally-Focused therapies. I specialize in helping you develop understanding of yourself, your needs, and values to support changes in your life, effective self-soothing, and release of past traumas. My intent is to create a grounding space for you to be with yourself and support you stepping into your authentic self.

In my practic, I create a space for you to be fully heard, seen, and understood; as well as hold value to your experiences of what it is like to be you. Together we work to heal the emotional wounds underlying the patterns you are feeling stuck in through finding helpful ways to interact with your symptoms, and offer your nervous system soothing and somatic release to enable you to identify the version of your life that feels most aligned with who you are.  We help you get there through collaboratively finding helpful, sustainable changes in your life to support your healing and happiness.

My approach involves an emphasis in integrating neuroscience alongside self-compassion to help create desired changes for yourself through use of trauma-informed Person-Centered, Emotionally-Focused, Attachment-Based, Acceptance and Commitment, Compassion-Focused, and Solution-Focused Therapies. My work operates from the understanding of the connection between the brain and body to help individuals develop a greater understanding of themselves in a way that is founded upon empathy and kindness for yourself.

In working with me, you can expect me to offer warmth, curiosity, creativity, and light humor as your therapist.  I believe that in my work, you and I are a team with the same goal of helping you create a better life.  If you are ready to start your journey, I would love the opportunity to join you!
