Jennifer Escobedo, PCA, EMDR
I offer a flexible, person-centered approach tailored to what you need from therapy. I use EMDR to help process difficult past experiences and DBT skills to build emotional regulation and distress tolerance. I also believe therapy doesn’t always need to feel structured. Sometimes meaningful, client-led conversation is exactly what is needed. Together, we can process the past, build practical skills, and create healthier, more balanced ways of moving forward in your life.

About Me:

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I believe finding someone you feel comfortable talking to makes all the difference. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as yourself—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out. I bring warmth, humor, honesty, and compassion into my work and believe that therapy can hold space for both the difficult moments and the lighter ones.
Every person comes to therapy with their own unique and often interconnected experiences, challenges, and strengths. If I had to choose, my ideal client would simply be someone who is motivated to make meaningful changes in their life that promote greater health and balance.
I enjoy working with people who want to better understand how their past experiences have shaped the way they think, feel, respond, and connect with the world around them. Together, we can work toward processing those experiences, building resilience, and developing an emotional toolbox that helps you navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, awareness, and trust in yourself.
I see therapy as something we do together. You know yourself and your experiences better than anyone, and my role is to help you make sense of what you’ve been through, recognize patterns that may no longer be serving you, and find ways to move forward that feel right for you.
I especially enjoy helping people work through trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and major life changes. I use approaches such as EMDR, CBT, and DBT, but more importantly, I tailor our work to you. You don’t have to have the right words or know exactly where to start, we can figure that out together.
