Lucille Bugden-Kelley, LPC, EMDR

In my work with adults, sessions often focus on navigating stress, anxiety, depression, or major life transitions, while finding clarity and building resilience. With children and teens, I emphasize helping them identify and express emotions, manage frustration, and strengthen their coping skills at home, school, and in friendships.

About Me:

Change often begins with small steps, and therapy can be a powerful place to practice those steps in a supportive and nonjudgmental space. My role is to walk alongside you as you build new skills, challenge old patterns, and discover healthier ways of approaching the difficulties in your life.

I often draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These approaches not only help uncover the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, but also provide practical tools for coping with stress, regulating emotions, and improving relationships. Clients who work with me learn strategies they can carry into everyday life — from calming anxious thoughts to handling conflict more effectively to feeling more confident in their choices.

In my work with adults, sessions often focus on navigating stress, anxiety, depression, or major life transitions, while finding clarity and building resilience. With children and teens, I emphasize helping them identify and express emotions, manage frustration, and strengthen their coping skills at home, school, and in friendships. I also support families who want to improve communication and build stronger, more connected relationships.

My goal is to make therapy feel approachable and useful, no matter your age or circumstances. Together, we’ll focus on both understanding the roots of your struggles and practicing skills that create real, lasting change.
