About Me:

I help clients find balance, clarity, and strength during times of stress and change. My approach combines mindfulness with evidence-based therapies such as CBT and DBT, offering both practical skills and a steady, supportive presence. I believe that therapy works best when it not only helps you understand your challenges but also gives you tools you can use every day.
DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is at the core of much of my work. Many of my clients come in feeling stuck in patterns of intense emotions, relationship difficulties, or overwhelming stress. DBT provides a pathway out of these cycles by teaching skills in four key areas: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Whether it’s learning how to calm your body during moments of panic, tolerate distress without making things worse, or speak up more assertively in relationships, DBT offers practical strategies that help you feel more in control of your life.
Mindfulness also plays an essential role in my practice. By slowing down and becoming more aware of thoughts, feelings, and body signals, clients are better able to interrupt automatic reactions. This not only reduces anxiety and depression but is also highly effective in managing anger. Mindfulness helps clients notice the early signs of frustration, create space to pause, and choose healthier ways to respond, rather than feeling hijacked by strong emotions. Over time, this practice builds calm, resilience, and self-compassion.
I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, anger management challenges, and stress, as well as those moving through transitions such as relationship changes, career shifts, or adjusting to new stages of life. Many of my clients want to feel more grounded, confident, and capable of handling daily challenges without being pulled into cycles of worry, self-criticism, or emotional overwhelm.
I also support couples and families who are looking to strengthen communication and reduce conflict. By practicing mindfulness and DBT skills together, families can begin to shift old dynamics and create more supportive, respectful relationships.
My goal is to provide a space where you feel both supported and empowered — where you can work through difficult emotions, learn new ways of coping, and begin to build the life you want.
